HP 903XL Compatible Ink Cartridges for Officejet Pro Printers – High Yield Black and Standard Colour

This 4-pack set of HP 903XL compatible ink cartridges delivers a dependable solution for everyday printing needs on HP Officejet Pro series printers. Designed as a direct replacement for OEM cartridges, the pack includes a high-capacity black cartridge with 53ml of ink and three standard colour cartridges, each containing 15ml, in cyan, magenta, and yellow. Ideal for home offices or small business environments, these cartridges help sustain consistent output without requiring frequent changes. The vacuum-sealed packaging ensures that each cartridge remains fresh and ready for use upon installation, reducing the risk of dried or clogged nozzles during storage.

Features and Construction

Each cartridge in this set is built to match the specifications of original HP 903XL consumables, offering a practical alternative for users who need reliable performance. The materials and ink formulation are tailored for HP Officejet Pro printers, supporting standard paper types and typical document coverage.

Material and Build

The cartridges are constructed from injection-moulded plastic with precision-machined nozzles to ensure accurate ink deposition. The vacuum packaging seals the ink chamber against air and debris, preserving the ink properties until the cartridge is opened. No additional hardware or modification is required for installation in compatible printers.

Size and Practical Fit

The black cartridge holds 53ml of ink, while each colour cartridge holds 15ml, matching the physical footprint of original HP 903XL units. The cartridges are designed to snap into the designated slots without adapters, and the chip communicates with the printer for ink level monitoring. Print yield under standard conditions is comparable to OEM cartridges, based on 5% page coverage per colour.

Uses and Placement

These cartridges are suited for both professional and personal printing tasks where colour or black-and-white documents are needed regularly. They work seamlessly with HP Officejet Pro 6950, 6960, 6970, and 6954 models, making them versatile for mixed-use environments.

Event or Professional Use

For small offices or home businesses, the set supports printing of client correspondence, invoices, and marketing materials in colour. The high-yield black cartridge is especially helpful for high-volume text documents, reducing the frequency of replacement during busy periods.

Everyday Home Use

At home, these cartridges handle print jobs such as school assignments, receipts, or family photos on plain paper. The standard colour cartridges provide sufficient ink for moderate use, and the vacuum packaging helps maintain quality between long intervals of non-use.

Benefits and Buying Value

Choosing this compatible set offers a balance of consistent output and cost efficiency, with packaging that protects the ink during shipping and storage. The design focuses on straightforward compatibility and reliable performance for standard print tasks.

Reuse and Low Maintenance

Each cartridge is intended for single-use; however, the vacuum-sealed pack helps reduce waste from prematurely dried cartridges. After installation, regular printer maintenance such as head cleaning ensures continued performance. Users should store unopened cartridges in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.

Why Choose This Product

This set provides a practical alternative to OEM cartridges with ink volumes that match or exceed typical replacement intervals. The included high-yield black cartridge offers more than double the ink of a standard cartridge, making it a good choice for text-heavy workloads. The colour cartridges are sufficient for documents with graphs, charts, or images, delivering satisfactory results on plain paper.
