Silicone Lick Mat for Dogs and Cats – Slow Feeder with BPA-Free Construction

This silicone lick mat is designed to slow down fast eaters and reduce the risks of gulping, choking, and digestive upset. Made from BPA-free silicone, it offers a soft yet resilient surface that withstands biting and tearing. The mat measures 24.5 x 19 x 0.8 cm and weighs 104 g, making it suitable for small and medium dogs, puppies, and cats. It tolerates temperatures from -20°C to 210°C, so you can boil it for thorough disinfection. With its one-piece moulded design, there are no dead ends where food gets trapped, keeping cleaning simple and reducing stains. Available in blue, green, and grey, each mat comes in OPP independent packaging.

Features and Construction

The mat is built from a single piece of silicone, with a flexible structure that holds up to licking and chewing. Its material and shape support everyday feeding without adding complicated parts.

Material and Build

The silicone used is BPA-free and described as environmentally friendly, soft, and safe. It does not retain odours and is not easily torn by pets. The one-piece moulding means there are no hidden crevices, which helps prevent food build-up and makes the mat easier to keep clean.

Size and Practical Fit

At 24.5 x 19 x 0.8 cm and 104 g, the mat is compact enough for standard bowls or floor feeding. The slim profile sits flat and is suitable for small and medium dogs, as well as cats. Its lightweight design means it can be moved or stored without difficulty.

Uses and Placement

This slow feeder fits into daily feeding routines, whether at home or during training. It can be used with treats, wet food, or kibble to encourage licking and slower consumption.

Event or Professional Use

For training sessions or multi-pet households, the mat helps manage feeding time by extending the duration of the meal. It can be used as a treat dispenser to keep pets occupied and reduce rapid eating during group feeding.

Everyday Home Use

At home, place the mat on the floor or in a bowl. It is suitable for both cats and dogs, and the three colour options—blue, green, and grey—allow you to choose a mat that suits your space. The mat can be used daily as part of a slow-feeding routine.

Benefits and Buying Value

By slowing down eating, the mat supports better digestion and helps reduce gulping and choking. Its durable silicone construction and simple cleaning requirements make it a practical addition to pet feeding routines.

Reuse and Low Maintenance

The silicone material can be boiled for disinfection, which helps keep the mat hygienic. It resists stains and is easy to wash by hand. Its one-piece design means there are no separate parts to lose or assemble.
