Smart WiFi Video Doorbell Camera with Chime, 720P, 166° Wide Angle, PIR Motion Detection

This WiFi video doorbell connects to your home 2.4GHz WiFi network and provides two-way intercom between the doorbell and your mobile phone. When a visitor presses the button, the chime sounds and the camera sends real-time images and a call to your phone. You can then see who is there, speak with them, and remotely unlock the door if needed. The 720P camera with a 166° wide-angle lens gives a broad view of your doorstep, while PIR motion detection sends message push notifications to your mobile. The device supports button wake-up, PIR wake-up, and active wake-up from your phone. It is powered by 2 x 18650 lithium batteries (not included) and supports micro SD cards from 8GB to 32GB. The package includes a chime.

Features and Construction

The doorbell is designed for low power consumption and flexible wake-up options. It uses standard 2.4GHz WiFi and offers local storage via micro SD card. The included chime provides an audible alert inside your home.

Camera and Viewing Angle

The 720P resolution camera has a 166° wide-angle lens, which covers a broad area in front of your door. This helps you see visitors even if they stand to the side. The camera activates when the doorbell button is pressed or when PIR motion is detected, sending real-time images to your phone.

Connectivity and Storage

The doorbell connects to 2.4GHz WiFi (IEEE 802.11b/g/n). It supports micro SD cards from 8GB to 32GB for local recording. A micro SD card is not included. The device also supports two-way intercom with echo cancellation, allowing clear conversation with visitors.

Uses and Placement

This doorbell is suitable for home entrances, flats, and small offices where you want to monitor and communicate with visitors remotely. It can be used in both residential and professional settings.

Event or Professional Use

For small businesses or home offices, the doorbell allows you to greet visitors or delivery personnel without opening the door. The remote unlock function can be useful if you have a compatible smart lock. The chime ensures you hear the doorbell inside.

Everyday Home Use

At home, you can check who is at the door from your phone, whether you are in another room or away. PIR motion detection sends alerts when someone approaches, and you can start a two-way conversation. The wide-angle lens helps you see more of your porch or entryway.

Benefits and Buying Value

The doorbell offers practical features for remote monitoring and communication. It uses standard batteries and supports common WiFi and storage formats, making it straightforward to set up and use.

Reuse and Low Maintenance

The device uses 2 x 18650 lithium batteries, which are rechargeable and widely available. With typical use of 15 wakes per day at 15 seconds each, the batteries can last 6 to 8 months. This reduces the need for frequent recharging. The micro SD card storage means you can keep recordings locally without a subscription.
