Silver Carving K100 Metal Mechanical Keyboard Black Axis Wired USB with Seven-Colour Backlight

When shopping for a dependable desktop keyboard, many users want a blend of tactile feedback, solid construction and visual customisation without complicated software or high cost. The Silver Carving K100 meets these needs with a full-size 108-key layout, genuine mechanical black axis switches and a metal chassis that feels substantial under the fingers. The wired USB connection avoids battery concerns and signal lag, making it suitable for extended gaming sessions or daily office work. Its seven-colour backlight adds a personal touch, while the included large hand rest and phone holder improve comfort and desk organisation. This keyboard focuses on practical functionality and robust build quality, all at a straightforward wired design.

Features and Construction

The K100 is engineered around core components that affect feel, durability and usability. The metal body provides a stable base, and the 108-key full-size layout includes a numeric keypad for data entry tasks. The black mechanical axis switches deliver a distinct tactile bump and audible click, preferred by many users for typing accuracy. The seven-colour backlight cycles through options without requiring proprietary software.

Material and Build

The keyboard frame is made from metal, giving it a solid weight of approximately 700 grams and a base that does not flex during heavy keystrokes. The keycaps are double-shot injection moulded plastic, ensuring legends do not wear off quickly. The overall dimensions are 475 millimetres wide, 209 millimetres deep and 22 millimetres tall, making it suitable for standard desks with enough room for a full-size keyboard plus hand rest.

Size and Practical Fit

With a width of 475 millimetres and depth of 209 millimetres, this keyboard fits comfortably on most office desks and gaming setups. The included large wrist rest attaches magnetically to the front edge, reducing wrist strain during long typing sessions. The phone holder sits to the left of the keyboard, keeping a mobile device visible without cluttering the workspace.

Uses and Placement

The K100 adapts to several environments where reliable wired input and tactile keys are beneficial. Its seven-colour backlight adds visibility in dimly lit rooms, while the metal frame withstands regular use in shared or home offices.

Event or Professional Use

For LAN parties, gaming events or temporary office setups, the wired USB connection eliminates pairing delays and battery management. The tactile black axis switches provide clear keypress feedback, which helps avoid missed inputs during fast-paced activities. The metal body also offers a degree of resistance to accidental bumps.

Everyday Home Use

At home, the full-size layout suits tasks from spreadsheet work to casual gaming. The seven-colour backlight lets users match the ambient lighting without distracting bright white illumination. The included hand rest and phone holder keep peripherals organised, reducing desktop clutter.

Benefits and Buying Value

Choosing a mechanical keyboard with a metal frame, full key count and bundled accessories offers convenience and longevity. The wired connection provides consistent performance without latency, and the mechanical switches are built to withstand millions of keystrokes.

Reuse and Low Maintenance

Because the keyboard uses durable mechanical switches and no rechargeable battery, its working life primarily depends on the user's environment. The keycaps can be removed and cleaned individually if needed. The USB cable is detachable, making storage and transport simpler.
